Problematika Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh Anak Sekolah Dasar Di Kelurahan Sialang Munggu Kecamatan Tuah Madani Kota Pekanbaru
The background of this research is the opinion of the parents about their children's
learning activities at home who are at elementary school during covid-19. For this
reason, this study has three purpose, those are to find out the description of
children's learning activities at home, the role of parents while children study at
home, and the obstacles when children study at home during distance learning.
The method used is qualitative with an ethnomethodological approach. The source
of the research is the family as the research subject and the head of RW 27
Sialang Munggu Village as the person in charge of the area where the research is
carried out. Data collection techniques is in the form of in-depth interviews and
documentations. The results of the study are: 1) The children study at home with
an online and offline approach, but interactions with school teachers tend to be
online. Children receive learning assistance from all of the people at home and
even neighbors around the house, 2) The role of parents while children study at
home is a facilitator where parents provide themselves as a resource for all the
fulfillment of children's needs to carry out learning activities from home, 3) The
obstacle when children study at home are family resources that are less supportive
to study at home, the application of parenting that is not really appropriate for
children, lack of learning resources directed by school teachers, and changes in
children's moods while study at home.
