Karakteristik Fisik Dan Mekanik Beton Geopolimer Hybrid Fly Ash Bottom Ash Di Lingkungan Gambut

ABSTRACT
Fly ash bottom ash geopolymer concrete with the addition of portland
composite cement aims to make the concrete able to carry out treatment at room
temperature. This study aims to examine the physical and mechanical properties
of hybrid geopolymer concrete and PCC cement concrete with peat water
immersion for 0, 7, 28 and 91 days after 28 days of treatment at room
temperature, including compressive strength, split tensile strength, shrinkage,
setting time and Strength activity index method. The result of the test showed that
the highest geopolymer concrete compressive strength occurred in variation 6
using 12M NaOH molarity and 3.0 silicate modulus of 16,215 MPa at 91 days of
age and PCC cement concrete compressive strength of 34,752 MPa. The highest
value of tensile strength of hybrid geopolymer concrete also occured in variation
6 using 12M NaOH molarity and silicate modulus of 3.0 of 1.723 MPa at 28 days
and the tensile strength of PCC cement concrete is 2.668 MPa. The lowest
shrinkage value of hybrid geopolymer concrete occured in variation 6 using 12M
NaOH molarity and silicate modulus 3.0 of 0.082% and PCC cement concrete of
0.038%. The fastest setting time value in hybrid geopolymer concrete occured in
variation 4 using 12M NaOH and sodium silicate 2.0 molarity with an initial
setting time of 75 minutes and a final setting time of 195 minutes and PCC cement
concrete produced an initial setting time of 55 minutes and final setting time at
255 minutes. The result of the highest strength activity index test on the hybrid
geopolymer concrete occurred in variation 2 using 12M NaOH molarity and 2.5
silicate modulus of 62.30%. Based on all test results, it can be concluded that the
higher the molarity of NaOH, the lower the amount of water content in the
mixture. That resulted in faster binding time and smaller shrinkage value.
