Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Guru Pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri Di Kecamatan Bengkalis
This study aims to determine the effect of variables (1) principal leadership on
teacher performance, (2) work motivation on teacher performance, (3) principal
leadership and work motivation together on teacher performance. The research
respondents were State Elementary School teachers in Bengkalis District, totaling
210 people, obtained by simple random sampling technique. Data was collected
through the distribution of questionnaires as a research instrument. The data analysis
used is descriptive analysis, inferential statistical analysis and hypothesis testing. The
instrument reliability coefficient was calculated using the Cronbach alpha formula.
The results showed that tThere is a positive and significant influence of the
principal's leadership on the performance of State Elementary School teachers in
Bengkalis District. The magnitude of the effect produced by the principal's leadership
on teacher performance is 71.7%. There is an influence positive and significant work
motivation on the performance of State Elementary School teachers in Bengkalis
District. The magnitude of the resulting effect of work motivation on teacher
performance is 71.9%. There is an influence positive and significant principal
leadership and work motivation on the performance of State Elementary School
teachers in Bengkalis District. The magnitude of the effect produced by the
principal's leadership and work motivation together on teacher performance is
72.5%.
