Pemberian Bakteri Selulolitik Sebagai Dekomposer Pada Pengomposan Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit Kering
ABSTRACT
Empty fruit bunches (EFB) contains macro and micro nutrients so it can be used
as a compost. EFB takes a long time to be composted, because it have high
cellulose. Used cellulolytic bacteria decomposers is a solution to boost EFB
composting. Goal of this research is to get cellulolytic bacteria with a high
potential for accelerating composting and producing high-quality compost. A
nonfactorial completely randomized design was used in this research. This
research used seven treatmants and repeated three times. Data presented in
qualitative and quantitative formats. Qualitative data were analyzed descriptively,
quantitative data were analyzed using analysis of variance and then continued
with the Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test at 5% significant level.
Temperature, volume shrinkage, color, smell, C-organic, N-total, C/N ratio, and
pH parameters of the compost analyzed. Cellulolytic bacteria isolates had a
significant effect on temperature, volume shrinkage, C-organic, N-total, and C/N
ratio, but had no effect on pH of the compost results. Consortium I is the best
treatmant with 29 oC of temperature, 75% of volume shrinkage, 23% of Corganic,
2% of N-total, 12 of C/N ratio and 7 of pH based on SNI: 19-7030-2004.
