Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Organik Cair Daun Gamal (Gliricidia Sepium) Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Jahe Merah (Zingiber Officinale Var. Rubrum)

ABSTRACT
The aims of this research were to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer of
gamal leaves and to determine the best dose for the growth and yield of red ginger.
The study conducted completely randomized design with three replications. The
treatment was a dose of liquid organic fertilizer of gamal leaves consisting 4 levels,
namely P0 = 0 ml/6 kg of soil, P1 = 40 ml/6 kg of soil, P2 = 60 ml/6 kg of soil, P3 =
80 ml/6 kg of soil. The observed parameters were age of red ginger shoots appeared,
plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, length of rhizome, fresh weight of
rhizome, dry weight of rhizome. The results showed that the application of liquid
organic fertilizer of gamal leaves at a dose of 60 ml/6 kg of soil could increase the
growth of the plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, rhizome length, fresh
weight of rhizome, and dry weight of rhizome of red ginger.
