Pengaruh Kinetin, Naa Serta Kombinasi Kinetin Dan Naa Terhadap Perkembangan Kultur Meristem Apikal Sagu Duri In-Vitro
ABSTRACT
Sago is a type of palm plant that grows on waterlogged land in the tropics and is a
carbohydrate-producing plant that has the potential to support food security programs. This study
aims to determine the effect and obtain the best treatment of Kinetin, NAA and the combination
of Kinetin and NAA on shoot morphogenesis of apical meristem explants of sago spines in vitro.
This research was conducted at the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory, Agrotechnology
Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, from February to August 2020. This study
used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 8 treatments and 3 replications so that
there were 24 experimental units. The parameters observed were when they appeared shoots,
number of shoots, shoot height and percentage of successful growth.Data analysis using analysis
of variance and further tested using (DNMRT) level 5%. The results showed that the treatment
with the addition of kinetin 1 mg.l-1 tended to be better for the parameters of the initial
observation of bud emergence with an average of 79.17 DAP, the number of shoots with an
average of 1.33 shoots, plant height with an average of 12 ,28 mm. Giving NAA 1 mg.l-1 tended
to be better on the percentage of success in growing shoots of sago Duri apical meristem explants
in vitro with an average of 66.67%.
