Komunikasi Dalam Implementasi Program Bantuan Pangan Non Tunai (BPNT) Di Kecamatan Logas Tanah Darat Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Provinsi Riau

This research was motivated by the government's efforts to transform the
distribution of Social Assistance (Bansos) from Prosperous Rice (Rastra) into Non-
Cash Food Assistance (BPNT). However, in its implementation in Logas Tanah
Darat there are still many poor people who have not received assistance. Based on
data obtained by researchers in the field, the total number of poor people in Logas
Tanah Darat is 4,737 people. However, only 2,093 people received Non-Cash Food
Assistance (BPNT). This study aims to analyze Communication in the Implementation
of the Non-Cash Food Assistance Program (BPNT) in Logas Tanah Darat District,
Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province, the research method used in this research
is research with the level of explanation and qualitative analysis.
Based on the results of communication research conducted by the Social
Service, sub-district BPNT Assistant, Village Government, and e-warung is direct
communication, namely through socialization and for further information regarding
disbursement of funds and distribution of assistance, it is sufficient to use mobile
phones. However, there is unclear information in the implementation of socialization
by the village to the beneficiary community so that there are still many people who do
not know the purpose of the program. The factors that hinder Communication in the
Implementation of the Non-Cash Food Assistance Program (BPNT) are Facilities
and Infrastructure, Too Long Bureaucratic Procedures, and the Ability of
communicators.
