Analisis Pengaruh Karakteristik Peternak Terhadap Produksi Ternak Ayam Ras Pedaging (Broiler) Pola Kemitraan Contract Farming Di Kota Pekanbaru

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of breeder characteristics in terms of age,
education level, experience, and number of dependents in the family partially on
the production of broilers (broilers) in a contract farming partnership pattern in
Pekanbaru City. The research was carried out in Pekanbaru City, Riau Province
with 2 sub-districts, namely Rumbai District and Kulim District. The respondent's
return technique uses purposive sampling method. The data analysis used in this
research is descriptive quantitative. Furthermore, to calculate the characteristics
of breeders on the production of broilers (broiler) partnership contract farming
in Pekanbaru City, multiple linear regression analysis method was used using
SPSS computer program (software) and to examine the effect of the variables of
breeder age, farmer education level, length of experience raising livestock. , and
number of dependents, with broiler chicken production in Pekanbaru City. The
result of this research is that the breeder's age variable (X1) has no significant
effect on the broiler production variable. The level of education of farmers (X2)
has a significant positive effect on the variable of broiler chicken production (Y).
The farming experience variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on the
production of broiler chickens. The variable number of family dependents (X4)
has a significant negative effect on livestock production (Y).
