Strategi Berdagang Pakaian Bekas Impor Di Pasar Senapelan Kota Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
Imported used clothing has been widely traded in Indonesia, although imported used clothing is illegal according to Law Number 7 of 2014 and Regulation of the Indonesian Minister of Trade Number 51/M-Dag/Per/7/2015. The trade of imported used clothing is not only sold in traditional markets but also in modern markets even though there are imported used clothes that are sold freely conventionally and online by traders of imported clothing. Building C 2nd floor Pasar Senapelan is a trading center for imported used clothing in the city of Pekanbaru. Imported used clothing is fast fashion waste that enters Indonesia. Vintage fashion trends are factors that make fans of imported used clothes never run out because they can reach classic clothes, branded clothes, and rare clothes Can be found at very cheap prices. Buying imported clothes is known as thrifting. The purpose of this research was to find out the strategy used by imported clothing traders in selling imported used clothing. This research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative approach using purposive sampling technique. In this research there were 5 sources from 262 imported used clothing traders who were in building C 2nd floor at Pasar Senapelan, Pekanbaru. Through observation, interviews, and research documentation, succeeded in finding and obtaining the factors that influence traders to choose imported used clothing as goods to be sold and form a trading strategy for imported used clothing carried out by traders at Pasar Senapelan Pekanbaru.
