Kesiapan Petani Kelapa Sawit Pola Swadaya Dalam Menghadapi Replanting Sesuai Prinsip Ispo Di Desa Rumbai Jaya Kecamatan Kempas Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir

ABSTRACK
This research was conducted in Rumbai Jaya Village, Kempas District,
Indragiri Hilir Regency. The sampling method of this research was proportional
sampling. The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of oil palm
farmers who will participate in replanting, describe the description of oil palm
farmers' farming according to the ISPO principle and describe the farmers'
perception of readiness to face replanting based on the ISPO principle.The data
analysis method of this research is descriptive qualitative and Likert scale
analysis. The result of this research showed that the age of the dominant farmer
was 15-55 years. Dominant education level did not finish elementary-elementary
school. The dominant farming experience is 11-20 years and 21-30 years.
Dominant land area >2 ha. The main occupation is dominant as a farmer. 62
percent of farmers do not have a side job. Dominant income of IDR 1,500,000 -
IDR 5,000,000 per month. All farmers do not have the capital for replanting
activities. The description of farming based on land clearing, nurseries,
maintenance-planting, environmental management and monitoring, and
sustainable business improvement is not following ISPO principles. Farmers'
perceptions of farmers' readiness to face replanting based on ISPO principles as a
whole, namely the principles of land legality, farmer organization and land
management, environmental management and monitoring and sustainable
business improvement are categorized as not ready with an average score of "1.2".
However, there are several indicators that are categorized as ready, namely on
proof of land ownership, proof of entering farmer groups and proof of ownership
of documents for forming farmer groups.
