Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray Dalam Meningkatkan Keaktifan Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Kelas XI IPS 2 SMA N 2 Pekanbaru
Student learning activity is one of the most important basic elements for the success of the learning process, it contains student activities through various interactions and learning experiences in the classroom, teachers are required to have the ability to manage teaching patterns by using or applying learning models that in accordance. This study aims to (1) determine the activities of teachers using the Two Stay Two Stray model in history learning at SMA N 2 Pekanbaru, (2) to determine student activities in history learning by applying the Two stay two stray learning model at SMA N 2 Pekanbaru, (3) To see student activity in history subjects after the implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model at SMA N 2 Pekanbaru. This research is aclassroom action research with data collection techniques through observation and documentation. The subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS 2 SMA N 2 Pekanbaru. The data analysis technique used student observation sheets, teacher observation sheets, and student learning activity observation sheets. The procedure of this research consists of the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of this study indicate an increase in student learning activity after the implementation of the Two Stay Two Stay learning model, with the percentage of student learning activities in cycle 1 reaching 59.23% and in cycle 2 student learning activities reaching 84.37% teacher activity in cycle 1 68, 5% of teacher activity in cycle 2 reached 92%. Meanwhile, student learning activity in cycle 1 reached 40.69% and cycle 2 reached 77.08% and has met the high category with 75% success indicators. It was concluded that the Two Stay Two Stray learning model in this study could be declared effective, which was marked by an increase in teacher activity, student activity, and student learning activity.
