ABSTRACT
In the implementation of buying and selling via the internet, problems often
occur which are sometimes caused by the mistakes of the buyer and seller.
Usually the problems or problems that are often encountered in buying and
selling agreements via the internet are very vulnerable to default, the default itself
is regulated in Article 1238 of the Civil Code the debtor is considered to be in
default by the expiration of the time limit. And if the time limit is not specified,
then to declare a debtor to be in default, a written warning letter from the creditor
is required to be given to the debtor. The warning letter is called a summons.
With the formulation of the problem, namely: How is the legal
implementation of buying and selling PUBG Mobile (Player Unknown
Battleground) accounts through the Facebook Marketplace? and How is the
default in buying and selling PUBG Mobile (Player Unknown Battleground)
accounts through the Facebook Marketplace?, the type of research is sociological
juridical with a legal approach and data collection methods using interviews, as
well as literature studies.
The results show that Default in buying and selling PUBG Mobile (Player
Unknown Battleground) accounts through the Facebook Marketplace is regulated
in article 1238 of the Civil Code, but in practice buying and selling PUBG Mobile
online game accounts are more vulnerable to elements of default which are not
uncommon in several cases of electronic transactions, both sellers as well as
buyers prefer to meet in person to avoid default. Therefore, so that there is no
fraud or loss in this PUBG Mobile account selling transaction, sellers and buyers
are encouraged to make transactions face-to-face or with third parties.
