Pembelajaran Geografi Di Masa Pandemi Covid -19 Di SMA Teknologi Pekanbaru
Education is a complex activity that includes various components that
are related to one another. Learning is an activity that is inseparable from human
life, by learning humans can develop the potentials that they are born with.
Learning geography is one of the subjects in high school. The quality of education
is currently experiencing challenges as a result of the corona virus outbreak.
Based on circular letter number 4th of 2020 concerning the Implementation of
Educational Policies in the Emergency Period for the Spread of the Corona Virus,
the Minister of Education and Culture urges all educational institutions not to
carry out direct or face-to-face teaching and learning processes. However, there
are also educational institutions that carry out limited face-to-face learning and
still adhere to health protocols with planning, implementation, and obstacles
during this pandemic.
The purpose of this study is to describe the planning of geography
learning carried out during the covid-19 pandemic in accordance with the
planning and goals to be achieved. Furthermore, to describe the implementation
of learning at the SMA Teknologi Pekanbaru in improving the quality of
geography learning during the covid-19 pandemic. And to find out the obstacles
and solutions faced during the geography learning process during the covid-19
pandemic at SMA Teknologi Pekanbaru.
The method used is by using the criteria for writing scientific papers that
are guided by qualitative methods. Qualitative research method is a method that
emphasizes more on aspects of in-depth understanding of a problem rather than
looking at problems for generalization research, seen from the data collection
procedure, namely the preparation and implementation stages (observation,
interviews, and documents).
