GO BY SHER’S MARKETING COMMUNICATION STRATEGY TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF K-POP MERCHANDISE ENHYPEN SALES

The high sales of Enhypen merchandise is supported by good marketing from fans (Engene). One form of marketing that is well-known among k-pop is the group order system. The number of group orders is certainly a challenge for group order owners, therefore a good marketing communication strategy is needed when selling k-pop merchandise. One of the group orders that sells Enhypen k-pop merchandise is GO by Sher. This study aims to find out how GO by Sher's marketing communication strategy increases the number of sales of Enhypen k-pop merchandise.
This study used descriptive qualitative method. The determination of informants using purposive techniques and accidental techniques. So that 11 informants were found. The data collection techniques in this study are observation, documentation, and interviews. While the technique of checking the validity of the data in this study is the technique of triangulation and member check. The data obtained were analyzed by reducing the data, presenting the data and drawing conclusions.
The results of this study indicate that the marketing communication strategy carried out by GO by sher in increasing the number of sales of Enhypen k-pop merchandise using the concept of marketing communication, namely marketing strategies with social media including Line, Instagram and Twitter, word of mouth strategies carried out by buyers by suggesting his friend, the merchandise strategy by providing scrunchies with pictures of Enhypen and candy, as well as the personal selling strategy by convincing buyers that their group orders are trusted group orders, answering all fans' questions regarding merchandise that GO by Sher sells, and providing good service to fans. Through this promotional strategy, Enhypen's k-pop merchandise sales on GO by Sher increased.
