Abstract
This study aims to determine the utilization rate of tuna landed at PPP Carocok Tarusan has not yet reached the optimum level of potential sustainable resources (MSY) of tuna and it is still possible to increase the catch based on fishing activities. Based on the results of the study, the relationship between effort and CPUE indicates that tuna resources have experienced overfishing in 2018, 2019 and 2020, in several years there was overexploited which could be a factor in overfishing, but in the last 5 years, in 2016 -2020 the utilization rate of tuna is still possible to be utilized, which is 11.03% of its maximum sustainable potential or 4,764.96 ton/year.
