Pengaruh Ketidaksetaraan Gender Di Bidang Pendidikan Terhadap Kemiskinan Di Kabupaten Rokan Hulu
ABSTRACT
This study aims to look at gender inequality and determine the effect of
education which consists of 3 indicators, namely the highest education completed,
the average length of schooling, and the literacy rate on poverty. The data used in
this research is secondary data. The analytical method used is multiple linear
regression, statistical testing includes the f test, t test, and R square, as well as the
classical assumption test, namely normality, heteroscedasticity multicollinearity,
and autocorrelation with the help of SPSS 25.0 program.
The highest education completed by men has a significant negative effect
on poverty and the highest education completed by women has a significant
negative effect on poverty. It can be concluded that the highest education
completed does not have gender inequality.
The male average length of schooling has a significant negative effect on
poverty and the female average length of schooling has a positive and significant
effect on poverty. It can be concluded that the average length of schooling has
gender inequality.
Male literacy rate has a significant negative effect on poverty and female
literacy rate has a positive and significant effect on poverty. It can be concluded
in the literacy rate has gender inequality.
