Pengaruh Pendidikan, Produk Domestik Regional Bruto, Dan Upah Minimum Terhadap Tingkat Pengangguran Di Kota Pekanbaru
This study aims to determine the effect of education factors, gross regional
domestic product, and minimum wages on unemployment in Pekanbaru City.
This study uses secondary data in the form of annual time series data from
2007-2020. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression, statistical
testing includes f test, t test, and R square (coefficient of determination), as well
as classical assumption tests, namely normality, multicollinearity, autocorrelation
and heteroscedasticity with the help of SPSS 25.0 program.
From the results of this study, it was found that the variables of education,
gross regional domestic product and minimum wage simultaneously have a
significant effect on unemployment in Pekanbaru City. While partially the
education variable (X1) in this study has a significant effect on unemployment.
For the regional gross domestic product (X2) and minimum wage (X3) variables
also have a significant effect on unemployment. The magnitude of the effect (R2)
by these three variables together on the dependent variable is 75% while the
remaining 25% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.
