Penerapan History Card Melalui Model Take And Give Dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah Untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas X IPS 3 SMAN 11 Pekanbaru
The low motivation of student learning is influenced by several factors,
one of which is the use of less varied learning models and media. Therefore, a
teacher's innovation in terms of models and learning media has an important role.
Teachers must be able to use interesting learning models and media so that
students are motivated in the learning process and the achievement of
predetermined learning goals. Based on this, this research was conducted with the
aim of increasing student learning motivation in history subjects by using a take
and give model with a history card media using class action research (PTK) which
consists of 2 cycles with research procedures consisting of planning, action,
observation, and reflection. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the
learning activity of students in cycle I, namely 57.57%, then increased in cycle II
to 82.89% and has reached the established success indicator of 60%. Then the
learning motivation of the first cycle students obtained an average percentage of
59.97% and increased in cycle II to 84.96% and has reached the established
success indicator of 75%. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the use
of the take and give model with a media history card can increase student learning
motivation.
