ABSTRACT
This study intends to explain social capital in group business development (KUB Kembang Sialang study, Sialang Munggu Village, Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City) in terms of social capital in group business development consisting of social networks between membership in membership, social network membership of Joint Business Groups (KUB). with business partners, norms between membership in membership, norms for membership of a Joint Business Group (KUB) with business partners, and membership trust in membership, trust in membership of a Joint Business Group (KUB) with business partners. This research was conducted with the informant technique by purposive sampling. This research uses the qualitative method. The theory used in this study is the theory of social capital. With the criteria, namely: being included in the membership of the Kembang Sialang KUB and joining the KUB Kembang Sialang for approximately 4 years, and to complete the data and information required additional informants (key informants), namely the Sialang Munggu Village apparatus. KUB Kembang Sialang has a social network that has a role in assisting the marketing process so that it can meet and collaborate with business partners, namely from souvenir shops, besides that the network also contributes to KUB membership, namely by facilitating KUB membership in the production process so that the production results obtained can fulfill customer requests every month, and the network also facilitates the process of obtaining additional capital from financial institutions so that it can assist in overcoming costs in the KUB Kembang Sialang production process, unwritten norms or rules or norms that exist in general in the community that affect the smooth cooperation between management with members of KUB Kembang Sialang, government agencies and private institutions, and with business partners and trustees who play a role in helping maintain good relations with business partners and facilitate KUB membership relationships.
