Relasi Kerja Perempuan Pendulang Emas Di Desa Logas Kecamatan Singingi Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi
ABSTRACT
Kuantan Singingi Regency is believed to be a gender-responsive village model in the PESK sector, the only one in Indonesia, where more than 204 women participate in the PESK sector. The purpose of the study analyzed the work activities and forms of labor relations of gold-panning women with gold tauke using the theory of Social Exchange and the theory of Rational Choice. The research location in Logas Kuantan Singingi village uses qualitative methods through observation data collection techniques, interviews, documentation and triangulation. The results of the study showed that the work activities of women who panned for gold began with the preparation of work tools, mobility to the work site, the process of panning for gold, the separation of gold and the sale of gold. The working relationships established between women who pan for gold and gold tauke are permanent buying and selling, accounts receivable, giving bonuses, giving THR, non-material assistance and family relationships. The women who pan for gold are still very dependent on the existence of gold tauke in selling their gold dulang products considering that the Tombang Wanita Amanah Duo Cooperative is still constrained by capital and cannot operate as it should.
