ABSTRACT
The magnetic susceptibility, composition and particle size of natural sand collectid from Rokan River, Riau Province have been investigated using ball milling method. The samples were processed using Iron Sand Separator (ISS). The magnetic and non-magnetic particles of irond sand separator (ISS) products were separated using Neodymium Iron Boron (NdFeB) magnet. The samples (NdFeB product) were milled as a function of vial rotation 100 rpm, 150 rpm, 200 rpm for 80 hours and milling ball size of 2 cm. The magnetic susceptibility were determined based on magnetic induction of a selenoid measured using Probe Magnetic Pasco PS-2162.
