Persepsi Pekebun Terhadap Pelaksanaan Peremajaan Kelapa Sawit Di Kampung Sialang Sakti Kecamatan Dayun Kabupaten Siak
ABSTRACT
Sialang Sakti Village carries out community palm replanting activities (PSR) with the Manunggal Sakti Association as a companion. The implementation of rejuvenation raises the perception of smallholders towards Gapoktan as a companion. Rejuvenation presents a new problem, namely that farmers will lose some or all of their income so that farmers have to do other work efforts. This study aims to analyze the perception of Kampung Sialang Sakti smallholders on the implementation of rejuvenation and identify the efforts of smallholders in obtaining income during the rejuvenation waiting period. The research was conducted in Sialang Sakti Village, Dayun District, Siak Regency. The population in this study is independent oil palm smallholders who are implementing the second phase of PSR. The sampling method used is census. The number of samples used was 36 planters. Primary data comes from planters. Secondary data comes from BPS, village offices, and Gapoktan. Smallholders' perceptions of rejuvenation using Likert scale data analysis. Efforts of smallholders to obtain other income during the replanting waiting period using qualitative descriptive data analysis. The perception of Sialang Sakti Village farmers towards the rejuvenation implementation carried out by the Manunggal Sakti Association is in the very good category with an average score of 4.34. The input, financial, technology, and market aspects are in the excellent category. The institutional aspect falls into the category of quite good. The most common attempt of smallholders to earn income is to provide loans for replanting.
