Strategi Pengembangan Agrowisata Balai Benih Induk Hortikultura Padang Marpoyan Kota Pekanbaru

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze and identify the internal and external environmental factors of Agrowisata Balai Benih Induk Padang Marpoyan Pekanbaru City, to formulate the most suitable alternative strategies and priorities for this agro-tourism. Data processing and analysis methods use the IFE matrix EFE, IE matrix, SWOT matrix and AHP. The research results obtained are 12 internal factors and 10 external factors which produce 8 alternative strategies. based on the results of the IFE matrix analysis the internal factors that are the main strength of the Agrowisata Balai Benih Induk Padang Marpoyan Pekanbaru City are that it has collaborated with various agencies and also schools as places of study or student internships, while the main weakness factor is the lack of promotions carried out, based on the results of the EFE matrix External factors that are the main opportunities are the number of visiting students and research facilities that can turn the Agrowisata Balai Benih Induk Padang Marpoyan Pekanbaru City into educational Agro-tourism. The external factors that are the main threats are political, economic and health conditions that can affect the number of visits. Agrowisata Balai Benih Induk Padang Marpoyan Pekanbaru City in cell V, which is in a hold and maintain condition The strategic priorities obtained using AHP analysis produce 2 main strategic priorities, namely utilizing available resources and adding to the completeness of other facilities to attract visitors such as photo spots, lodging, so that they are attractive and innovative and the other main strategy is to improve the quality and quality of service facilities at Agrowiata Balai Seeds Padang Horticulture Main Marpoyan
