Analisis Pemasaran Tandan Buah Segar Kelapa Sawit Di Desa Gabung Makmur Kecamatan Kerinci Kanan Kabupaten Siak
ABSTRACT
The plantation sector has a huge opportunity to become a national export. The oil palm commodity has a strategic role in the Indonesian economy and especially in Riau Province. Palm oil marketing is a process of marketing flow or transfer of property rights with creation such as the use of time, use of place, and use of form carried out by each marketing institution. The purpose of this study was to analyze the marketing channels, marketing costs, marketing margins, and marketing efficiency of plasma pattern and independent pattern oil palm commodity FFB in Gabung Makmur Village, Kerinci Kanan District, Siak Regency. This research was conducted from August 2022 to June 2023 using the survey method. Snowball sampling was used in determining the sample. The results of this study indicate that there are two types of FFB marketing channels, namely (I) channel I, smallholders sell FFB to KUD and KUD sells it to palm oil mills. (2) channel II, smallholders sell FFB to intermediary traders and intermediary traders sell them to large traders, then large traders sell them to palm oil mills. Of the two marketing channels used to analyze the most efficient FFB marketing is the first marketing channel. Smallholders who use this marketing channel are plasma smallholders.
