ABSTRACT
The problem in this research is the decrease in employee loyalty which can be seen from the decrease in production output, increased employee absenteeism, and the level of labor turnover which has fluctuated from 2017-2021. This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and financial compensation on employee loyalty through work motivation as an intervening variable. The population in this study were all employees in 2017 totaling 590 employees so that in this study a sample of 86 employees was obtained from the slovin formula using stratified random sampling technique. The data obtained from the results of the questionnaire were then processed by statistical tests through the Smartpls application.
From the results of the research, the work environment has a positive but not significant effect on employee loyalty, while financial compensation and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. The work environment and financial compensation have a positive and significant effect on work motivation and the work environment and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty through work motivation as an intervening variable.
