Pengembangan Instrumen Tes Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis Pada Materi Barisan Dan Deret Kelas XI SMA/Ma
Mathematical Reasoning Ability (MRA) is an important ability for studentsin mathematical learning. However, students' MRA is still in the low category due to the lack of test instruments that teachers can use as a reference for training students' MRA. This study aims to develop a MRA test instrument on sequences and series material that are valid, reliable, and has a good level of difficulty and discriminatory power. This type of research is the development type of development studies consisting of preliminary stage and formative evaluation that adapts Tessmer's steps, namely self-evaluation, expert review, one to one, small group, and field tests. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique which describes each processing data combined using validation instrument sheets, student response sheets, and MRA test sheets. From the 15 items developed, 13 items were obtained which were valid, reliable, and had a good level of difficulty and discrimination.
