Pengaruh Intensitas Penggunaan Gadget Terhadap Komunikasi Interpersonal Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di TK Pertiwi Desa Muara Lembu Kecamatan Singingi Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi

Technological advances are currently very rapid and sophisticated, one of which is gadgets. So that humans are required to keep up with the times. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence between the intensity of gadget use on interpersonal communication for children aged 5-6 years at Pertiwi Kindergarten, Muara Lembu Village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. This research is a quantitative research with a correlation research type. The population of this study were 56 children aged 5-6 years in Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, the sample used was a saturated sample, namely determining the sample if all members of the population were sampled. This research is a quantitative research with a correlation test with the chi square formula and nominal data characteristics with the help of IMB SPSS version 23. Based on the results of the calculation of the correlation test, the symmetric measures value is 0.669. The correlation coefficient value of 0.669 lies in the range 0.60-0.799, meaning that there is a strong relationship between the intensity of gadget use and children's interpersonal communication, meaning that the higher the intensity of gadget use, the lower the child's interpersonal communication with the value of the determinant coefficient that will be produced is KD = r2X100% = 47.76% which means that the intensity of using gadgets has an effect of 47.76% on interpersonal communication of children aged 5-6 years at Pertiwi Kindergarten, Muara Lembu village, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency.
