ABSTRACT
Agro-industry especially made from sago stems plays an important role because it can generate added value from agricultural products. The success of agro-industry business is determined by how the business is managed. This study aims to analyze income and the relationship between business characteristics in the management of wet sago agro-industry in the Village of Panggak Laut, District of Lingga, District of Lingga. The method used in this research is the census method with 6 wet sago entrepreneurs as respondents. This study analyzes income, business efficiency (RCR), and added value analysis. The results showed that the wet sago agro-industry business in the research area was already profitable and feasible to continue. The average wet sago entrepreneur earns a profit of IDR 2,595,260 per production. Analysis of the efficiency of the wet sago business is calculated using the R/C Ratio method with an RCR value of > 1, namely 1.36, which means that every 1 rupiah spent provides a profit of Rp. 0.36. The added value analysis obtained was IDR 222.53/kg. This value states that for every processing of 1 kg of sago stalks, it will provide an added value of IDR 222.53.
