Analisis Jaringan Komunikasi Petani Kelapa Sawit Pola Swadaya Di Desa Tambusai Utara Kecamatan Tambusai Utara

ABSTRACT
This study analyzes the actors and patterns of communication networks
formed in the agribusiness subsystem in North Tambusai Village, North Tambusai
District. This research was carried out for 5 months starting from December 2022 to
May 2023 with stages covering field surveys, data collection, data processing and
analysis, preparation of proposals to writing the final research report. Questionnaires
were given to independent oil palm smallholders with a total sample of 30 people.
Interpersonal communication networks were analyzed using sociometric analysis
which was visualized in the form of a sociogram using UCINET VI. The method
used is to make a matrix that contains the relationship data first obtained from the
sociometric questions posed in the questionnaire. Communication network actors are
analyzed by degree centrality which describes the popularity of each actor, closeness
describes the closeness between actors, betweenness the actor's position as an
intermediary for relations between other actors, eigenvector (eigenvector) describes
how important the actor is in the group.
