Analisis Permintaan Konsumen Dalam Pembelian Sayur Organik Di Kota Pekanbaru

ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the demand factors for organic vegetables ( pakcoy and lettuce) in Pekanbaru City, and to determine the elasticity of demand for organic pakcoy and lettuce in Pekanbaru City on price, income, and number of family members. This research was conducted in 4 modern markets spread across Pekanbaru City, namely the pasar buah Pekanbaru, pasar buah 88, pasar buah nangka and farmers market. The population in this study were consumers who bought organic vegetables at the pasar buah Pekanbaru, pasar buah 88, pasar buah nangka and farmers market.The sample used in this study was 80 samples using the accidental sampling method. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed Factors that significantly influence the demand for organic pakcoy and lettuce are price and consumer income. The demand for organic pakcoy vegetables is inelastic to price, and consumer income. The demand for organic lettuce vegetables is elastic to price but inelastic to consumer income.
