Metode Iterasi Orde Empat Bebas Turunan Kedua Untuk Menyelesaikan Persamaan Nonlinear
ABSTRACT
This final project discusses a second derivative free iteration method for solving
nonlinear equations. Analytically, by using Taylor expansion and geometric
series the proposed method is proven to have a fourth order of convergence and
has efficiency index 1.414. Numerical computation of several examples with
some other discussed methods shows that the proposed method in general has
the fewer number of iterations to approximate the roots of the tested nonlinear
equations.
