IN ROKAN HILIR DISTRICT

Abstract
Regional General Hospital dr. RM Pratomo is a regional hospital with type C which provides services in the medical field, one of which is inpatient services. The effectiveness of the Regional General Hospital dr. RM Pratomo Bagansiapiapi for inpatient services has not been maximized. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Regional General Hospital dr. RM Pratomo Bagansiapiapi for Inpatient Services in Rokan Hilir Regency. In this study, researchers used 5 criteria for measuring effectiveness by Steers with five indicators, namely Productivity, Work Adaptability, Job Satisfaction, Profitability, and Resource Utilization. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, data collection techniques based on observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of inpatient services at the Regional General Hospital dr. RM Pratomo Bagansiapiapi has not been maximized but is considered to have improved from before before the hospital has made new breakthroughs such as online registration and conducting evaluations every month, it is hoped that inpatient services can continue to improve so as to get patient satisfaction. Factors that become obstacles in implementing the effectiveness of the Regional General Hospital dr. RM Pratomo Bagansiaiapi regarding inpatient services is the lack of skills and abilities of health workers in providing inpatient services and the community's lack of understanding of the Minimum Service Standards (SPM)
