Program Pemberdayaan Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) Berbasis Modal Sosial Di Kecamatan Singingi Hilir Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi
This study aims to determine (1) the social capital of PKS party cadres in
an effort to empower community programs in Singingi Hilir District; (2) knowing
the PKS party empowerment program in an effort to empower the community in
Singingi Hilir District. The location of this research was carried out in Singingi
Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The concepts used to answer the
formulation of the problem are social capital, political parties, and community
empowerment.
The approach used in this study uses a qualitative descriptive approach
with this type of observational research. Related to this research is the disclosure
of social capital in community empowerment by the PKS party in Singingi Hilir
District. Therefore, the authors will take research subjects consisting of PKS
Kuantan Singingi party leaders, PKS Kuantan Singingi party secretaries, PKS
party leaders in Singingi Hilir sub-district, and PKS party women leaders in
Singingi Hilir sub-district. Besides that, the writer will also develop the concept,
collect data that occurs in the research area. Data collection techniques used
were observation, in-depth interviews and documentation, while data analysis
techniques used qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques from Miles and
Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, and conclusions.
Based on the results of the research, the implementation of social capitalbased
PKS party empowerment programs in Singingi Hilir District, there is PKS
cadre social capital consisting of elements including; (1) trust, (2) social
networks, (3) norms and (4) institutionalized values. Meanwhile, the typology of
social capital consists of; (1) bonded capital, (2) bridging capital, and (3)
network capital. PKS party empowerment programs in Singingi Hillir District
include; (1) Fostering community morality and spirituality, (2) educational
empowerment program, (3) Home rehabilitation program, (4) Women and family
program, (5) Blessing Friday sharing program, and (6) Community advocacy in
land conflicts .
