The Supervision of Water Supplier in Tebing Tinggi Kota

ABSTRAC
The refillable water supplier enterprise is a small industrial
enterprise that satisfies the community's daily water requirements.
The water quality inspection laboratory's results of drinking water
tests must be reported by the water supplier to the accredited City
Health Office. However, several water suppliers in Tebing Tinggi
Kota Subdistrict still have not been recorded at Tebing Tinggi City
Health Office. This study aimed to determine the supervision of
water suppliers in Tebing Tinggi Kota Subdistrict and the factors
that affected that supervision. The research employed qualitative
research and a descriptive phenomenological approach. The data
was collected using observation, interviews, and documentation to
acquire data pertinent to the research objectives. This study was
concerned with Handoko's supervision theory. This study utilised
primary data, which was collected through interviews with research
informants and secondary data sources, and secondary data was
collected through observation of research objects and
documentation. The study’s findings indicated that Tebing Tinggi
City Health Office's supervision of water supplier was suboptimal
and lacked assertiveness in terms of providing counselling
supervision.
