WORK EFFECTIVENESS OF SOCIAL SERVICES EMPLOYEES IN VERIFICATION AND VALIDATION OF DATA RECIPIENTS OF SOCIAL ASSISTANCE FUNDS IN PEKANBARU CITY

ABSTRACT
Social assistance funds in Indonesia are disbursed based on Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) where DTKS is the main data used by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Regional Governments, in this case the District/City Social Service, which is authorized to manage this data. The theory used in this study is the theory of performance effectiveness by Admosoeprapto (in Amelya, 2022) with 5 (five) indicators: Goal Achievement, Quality of Work, Quantity of Work, On Time and job satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Social Service's performance in verifying and validating data on recipients of social assistance funds in Pekanbaru City. By using a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach which is descriptive in nature, using data collection techniques by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research that the author got were that the performance of the Social Service was considered not to be effective in verifying and validating data on recipients of social assistance funds, which still had several factors that became obstacles experienced by the Pekanbaru City Social Service, causing the implementation of the verification and validation to be ineffective. The suggestion from this research is that cooperation, coordination and harmonization are needed between the central and regional governments so that the data produced is right on target, effective and efficient and supported by a good, integrated, transparent and accountable system in the distribution of social assistance.
