Strategy for Accelerating Population Administration Change After District Expansion in Pekanbaru City

ABSTRACT
Pekanbaru City has experienced expansion from 12 sub-districts to 15 sub-districts. This has an impact on people who live in the area resulting from the sub-district expansion. Which requires them to change their population data through the Sipenduduk online service. So it is necessary to have a special strategy using SWOT Analysis in the change of Population Administration after the expansion of Sub-districts in Pekanbaru City, where the strategy will be used by human resources who handle it in the agency of the Population and Civil Registration Office of Pekanbaru City. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, the strategy recommendation given is an Aggressive Strategy where this situation is very profitable, because the strengths possessed can be utilized for existing opportunities. The results of this study indicate that the replacement of Population Administration after the expansion of the District through the Population and Civil Registration Office of Pekanbaru City has not run optimally so that the resulting strategy can increase public awareness about the replacement of Population Administration after the expansion of the District in Pekanbaru City. With the program from the Population and Civil Registration Office of Pekanbaru City in the form of the Sipenduduk online service, it should be more socialized to RT and RW by providing training in using the online service.
