ABSTRACT
In trading activities require measuring instruments and weighing as a means of measuring an object. The use of scales that do not meet the standards and are not re-tagged will cause inaccuracy in measurements, therefore traders are required to carry out tera and re-tag scales to ensure accurate measurements in order to protect public interests as consumers. This study aims to describe the Supervision in the Implementation of Permendag Number 67 of 2018 by the Department of Industry and Trade of Pekanbaru City (Labuh Baru Market Case Study) and the inhibiting factors of Supervision in the Implementation of Permendag Number 67 of 2018 Labuh Baru Market Case Study. This research methodology is qualitative with a descriptive case study approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation then analyzed using triangulation techniques. The theory used is Sarwoto's theory (2010) with seven dimensions The existence of elements of Accuracy, Timely, Objective and Comprehensive, Centralized, Economically Realistic, Organizationally Realistic, Flexible. The results of the study state that Supervision in the Implementation of Permendag Number 67 of 2018 by the Department of Industry and Trade of Pekanbaru City (Case Study of Labuh Baru Market) has not been effective and there are still obstacles such as inadequate human resources and lack of awareness of traders to retare scales.
