ABSTRACT
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever or DHF has long been known in Indonesia as an infectious disease originating from mosquitoes that can transmit the dengue virus to a group of humans and become an epidemic, so that the transmission of this disease can disrupt the social life of the community in an area. Karimun Regency is one of the districts with the highest number of DHF cases in Kepulauan Riau Province. The purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation of dengue hemorrhagic fever eradication policy is carried out in Karimun Regency and what factors are the obstacles in the implementation of the policy. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The theoretical concepts used are from the Edward III policy implementation theory model, namely Communication, Resources, Disposition, and Bureaucratic Structure. The results of the research on the implementation of the DHF eradication policy in Karimun Regency have not fully gone well, which can be seen from the eradication movement that is not optimal, the use of larvicides that are not implemented properly, and public awareness that is still low in eradicating mosquito nests.
