Sensor Kapasitif Elastis Berbasis Galinstan (Gainsn) Untuk Point Of Care Pasien Osteoporosis
ABSTRACT
Elastic capacitive sensors are becoming an attractive and popular sensing device, along with the increasing need for wearable electronic devices in the health sector. This research has successfully developed single-layer and multi-layer capacitive sensors based on 3M VHB 4905 tape as a dielectric and Galinstan as an electrode as a sensors that can respond to stretching and bending. The sensor is made by applying Galinstan directly with a brush to the tape and then layering it. 3M VHB 4905 tape is also used as packaging to prevent oxidation of the liquid metal and minimize direct contact with the liquid metal on the skin. The dielectric constants of the single-layer and multi-layer sensors are 7.1637 and 4.7376, respectively, with the multi-layer design outperforming the single-layer due to the addition of a dielectric. The capacitance value of the sensor also did not change significantly after five days of storage. The sensor can be stretchable up to 25 stretches and can be stretch 2.5 times its original size with little effect on performance due to the liquid phase of the Galinstan, which is allowed the sensor to return to its original size. The results also show that the sensor has a good linear relationship with strain. Increasing the length of the electrode increases the capacitance value of the sensor, as the capacitance value is directly proportional to the area, with negligible spacing between electrodes (
