PUBLIC RELATIONS STRATEGY OF RADIO HIDAYAH 103.4 FM PEKANBARU IN MAINTAINING LISTENER LOYALTY

Radio Hidayah 103.4 FM is a da'wah radio in Pekanbaru city that aims to spread Islamic propagation and provide information on Islamic religious knowledge with studies according to the demands of the Apostle and his companions. Radio Hidayah has a public relations division in charge of making strategies to maintain listener loyalty.
This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. The research subjects here consist of five people, where these people are directly related to the public relations strategy of Radio Hidayah 103.4 FM in maintaining listener loyalty. This study uses data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. To achieve data validity in this study the author used source triangulation techniques.
The results of this study show, of the seven types of public relations strategies, namely publications, events, news, corporate identity, community involvement, lobbying and negotiation, and corporate social responsibility (CSR), only four types of strategies are applied by public relations of Radio Hidayah 103.4 FM Pekanbaru in maintaining listener loyalty, namely: publications, events, corporate identity (company image), and corporate social responsibility (CSR). The evaluation of the strategies applied by the public relations of Radio Hidayah 103.4 FM in maintaining listener loyalty is carried out as a whole once a month. Radio Hidayah's public relations gathered with the head broadcaster and Radio Hidayah broadcasters to discuss the programs that had been implemented, discussing the increase in the number of listeners, interaction with radio listeners, publications, broadcast duration, budgeting, obstacles and solutions. Evaluation is done with the aim of knowing what are the shortcomings or mistakes of the strategies that have been applied before, so that they can be corrected and taken into consideration for the future. The strategy implemented is considered good and can meet expectations, seen from the views of Radio Hidayah's public relations and Radio Hidayah's loyal listeners.
