The Merchants of Cloister (PKL) chance always faced to city development
pressure to be modern. Its impact is some conflict happened between government
and PKL when publisher take placed. The government gives solution by
localization the relocation of traditional markets. They are Palapa Market (Labuh
Baru), Limapuluh Market and Pujasera Arifin Ahmad Market, there are two semi
modem markets: Senapelan Market and Inpres Agus Salim Market. After the
localization the relocation is given, the PKL? still run a way. This research is
purposed to know how publisher socialization of PKL conducted by Market
Official of Pekanbaru City?
Research methodology on this research uses qualitative method by
descriptive approach. The collecting data is conducted by perception participate,
interview, documentation, photos and bibliography study. Subject on this research
are Market Official of Pekanbaru City and some of The Merchants of Cloister in
Pekanbaru city, the object of this research is the socialized of The Merchants of
Cloister in realizing of public orderliness. The researcher uses interactive model
data analysis to analysis, the researcher involves in comparisons data that have
been collected.
Market Official conducts PKL publisher socialization process by giving
handbill of order trading prohibition, making pasteboard free of PKL, and directly
socialization on field by conducting patrol every day at most gristle areas between
Ahmad Yani and Agus Salim street. Socialization also conducted on printed and
electronic mass media in warning of trading by using public facilities as trading
place. Then, the socialization also conducted by executing on PKL who do not
fulfill the order by detaining their merchandises.
Pertaining to the time and researcher limited, next, the researcher is
ordered able to collecting, finding and analyzing the problems deeply by using
quantitative method.
