Dampak Pandemi Covid-19 Terhadap Pendapatan Usaha Mikro, Kecil Dan Menengah (UMKM) Di Kelurahan Simpang Baru

SUMMARY
The government has enacted various policies to suppress the spike in the Covid-19 pandemic, including the social restrictions on small to large scales. This has an impact on all areas of society, especially in the economic sector. This research contains a quantitative analysis of the impact on the income of MSMEs spread across Simpang Baru village. This study aims to know the characteristics and strategies of MSMEs during a pandemic. The method used is quantitative with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The discussion in this study is based on the AGIL theory with SWOT analysis. The results of the study explain that the characteristics of MSME actors are 96% of the population aged 25 to 45 years with an almost balanced ratio of gender differences. The respondents' education level is dominated by high school / vocational high school graduates and S1. MSMEs of the culinary type are the most businesses, namely 27%. The largest distribution of MSMEs is on Jl.Merpati, namely 25%. Based on the IE Matrix, the position of MSMEs in Simpang Baru village is in cell 5, which means that MSMEs in Simpang Baru village during the Covid-19 pandemic continue to experience growth and development. Then based on the SWOT analysis, MSMEs in Simpang Baru village are in Strength-Opportunities (SO) with the description of strategies including the ability to empower technology to make MSME marketing better, creativity or innovation in MSMEs opens up new marketing relationships, the closeness between fellow MSME players is getting closer so that the formation of cooperation programs and the relationship between MSME players and the government is getting better and the implementation of coaching programs.
