Analisis Sistem Agribisnis Padi Sawah Di Desa Muara Uwai Kecamatan Bangkinang Kabupaten Kampar

Agribusiness farming is agriculture that consists of several subsystems in the form of connecting channels between one subsystem and another. This research is about the analysis of the Paddy Rice agribusiness system in Muara Uwai Village. The objectives of this research are: (1) analyzing the upstream agricultural subsystem, (2) analyzing the agricultural cultivation subsystem, (3) analyzing the processing subsystem, (4) analyzing the marketing subsystem, (5) finding out the institutional subsystem. This research was carried out in Muara Uwai Village, Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency using a survey method. The technique for collecting respondents was carried out using simple random sampling. The population in this study were rice farmers with a total of 40 farmers. The results of the research are: (1) based on criterion 6, the seeds, fertilizers and agricultural tools used are correct, (2) rice cultivation activities include land preparation, plowing, sowing seeds, planting, fertilizing, spraying, weeding, harvesting and post-harvest, (3) analysis of the processing subsystem shows that rice processing is divided into two, namely drying the harvested grain into milled dry grain and milling the milled dry grain into rice, (4) rice marketing in Muara Uwai Village is divided into two channels, namely the first channel, farmers directly market rice to consumers in the market, the second channel, farmers use marketing institutions, namely rice mills, which are then distributed to consumers, while the most efficient marketing channel is the first channel with efficiency value of 6.33%, (5) there are three institutions supporting rice agribusiness in Muara Uwai Village, namely farmer groups, field agricultural extension institutions and government institutions. The agencies most actively involved are agricultural extension agencies.
