Manajemen Produksi Program Kakak Beradik Podcast Di Youtube Media Onsu Perkasa

The podcast phenomenon is one of the media products enjoyed by the Indonesian population. Many platforms are available to present a podcast, one of which is YouTube. One of the YouTube channels that presents podcast content is the Media Onsu Perkasa (MOP) Channel built by Ruben Onsu. MOP Channel has successfully attracted the attention of the Indonesian people through programs presented in the form of videos, one of the flagship programs is the Kakak Beradik Podcast. Kakak Beradik Podcast has an appeal to captivate its audience. For this reason, this study aims to see how management strategies include planning (planning), organizing (organizing), actuating (mobilizing or directing), and controlling (controlling) in the production of the Kakak Beradik Podcast program on the MOP Channel.
This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The object of research is the production management of the Kakak Beradik Podcast program by MOP Channel. The research subjects consisted of eight people who were included in the Kakak Beradik Podcast program team which was determined through purposive techniques. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include three activities, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data validity checking technique was carried out using the Data Triangulation method.
The results of this study explain how the application of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling (POAC) in the production management of the Kakak Beradik Podcast program by MOP Channel to produce quality programs. In the planning stage, the discovery of ideas collected through research is carried out. Then compile production costs as needed. Furthermore, designing a storyboard that guides the production of the Kakak Beradik Podcast program. At the organizing stage, the organizational structure of the duties of each department is determined and then good team coordination is carried out to ensure that all teams work effectively. The actuating stage consists of a production process that includes concept development, strategy, as well as production supervision and production needs. The controlling stage includes online and offline editing as well as preview and evaluation. The editor will add visual effects and balance some sound elements so that they can be heard clearly. Then preview and evaluate the performance of the production team to improve the quality of the program in the future.
