Penggunaan Model Lokasi-Alokasi Dalam Pengoptimalan Jumlah Dan Lokasi Pos Pemadam Kebakaran
This final project discusses the application of location-allocation model in optimizing the number and location of fire stations in Pekanbaru City. This quantitative location-allocation model is solved by formulating the Set Covering Location Problem (SCLP) model and the p-median problem model. The mathematical model in this problem is solved using the LINGO 18.0. The completion of the SCLP model formulation obtains the minimum number of fire stations of eight fire stations and their location points by considering the maximum travel distance from each fire station of 7,5 km. Furthermore, the results of the SCLP model are used in the formulation of the p-median problem model so as to obtain the minimum total distance from the subdistricts to the location of the fire stations is 34,2 km and the allocation of each subdistrict to the nearest fire stations from the results of the SCLP model. Computational results show that this location-allocation model can determine the minimum number of fire stations, location of fire stations, and the better allocation of each subdistrict to the fire stations.
