Analisis Optimalisasi Usahatani Bayam dan Kangkung di Desa Sidomulyo Barat Kecamatan Tuah Madani Kota Pekanbaru
Limited inputs of agricultural production have caused farmers in West Sidomulyo Village, Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City to cultivate spinach and kale vegetable crops with a diversification pattern. Research was conducted to determine the characteristics of farmers, the use of production factors, and optimal spinach and kale vegetable crops for planting. Data analysis using descriptive analysis methods and linear programming using POM. QM V.4. The results of the study (1) The characteristics of farmers are mostly in productive age, with the dominance of the Junior High School (SMP) education level, the length of farming sample farmers ranges from < 1 year - > 12 years, (2) The highest use of land inputs, labor, fertilizers, and pesticides is in spinach farming, because the land area for spinach farming is greater than kale farming, the highest use of capital and seed inputs is in farming kale, because the size and price of seeds are relatively large and expensive. Farm analysis shows an average receipt of spinach vegetables of 1. 233. 245 Rp/MT or 9,820 Rp/m2/MT, kale farming of 1. 138,400 Rp/MT or 12,743 Rp/m 2/MT, average net income of spinach farming of 621,883 Rp/MT or 4,951 Rp/m 2/MT, kale farming of 593,891 Rp/MT or 6,648 Rp/m 2/MT, obtained a large R/C ratio of 2.4 (3) Optimization solution obtained spinach land area of 124.52 m 2/MT and kale of 90.18 m 2/MT with a percentage increase in profit of 1.6%, spinach plants are more optimal for planting.
