Analisis Perbandingan Pendapatan Usahatani Dan Persepsi Petani Padi Sawah Sistem Jajar Legowo Dan Sistem Konvensional Di Desa Kelayang Kecamatan Rakit Kulim Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu

Developing food crops is a top priority in agricultural development, especially rice. One way to increase seed production is to use a good rice growing system. This study aims at a comparative analysis of the income of wet rice farming by the jajar legowo cropping system and conventional cropping systems in order to find out farmers' perceptions about the jajar legowo cropping system and conventional cropping system in Kelayang village, Rakit Kulim district. The analytical methods used are agricultural analysis, descriptive analysis and Likert scales. The number of respondents was 46 farmers with jajar legowo cropping systems and 29 farmers with conventional cropping systems. The results show that the total production cost for lowland rice with the jajar legowo cropping system is Rp.10.560.985/Ha/MT and Rp.12.583.297/Ha/MT under the conventional cropping system. While the net income is Rp.6.223.885/Ha/MT in the jajar legowo cropping system and in the conventional cropping system it is Rp.4.085.117/Ha/MT. The RCR value of the jajar legowo cropping system is 1,62 and the coonventional cropping system is 1,35 and the sig (2-tailed) value is 0,002. This means there is a difference in income from lowland rice farming with the jajar legowo cropping system and the conventional cropping system. Where family employment income from rice farming with the jajar legowo cropping system is Rp.12.508.068/Ha/MT and conventional cropping system is Rp.12.584.522/Ha/MT, with a sig (2-tailed) value of 0,436. This means that there is no difference in the labor income of rice-growing families between the jajar legowo system and the conventional system. Farmers awareness of the jajar legowo cropping system was classified as high (3,98) and farmers awareness of the conventional cropping system was classified as medium (3,10).
