Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Model Reciprocal Teaching Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa Pada Materi Lingkaran Kelas VIII SMP/MTs
This research is based on the importance of students communicate mathematically ability. The limited ability of students to communicate mathematically in the topic of Circles is due to the learning model used not yet facilitating students' mathematical communication skills. This study aims to produce mathematical learning tools in the form of syllabus, RPP, and LAS using the Reciprocal Teaching model for the Circles topic in Grade VIII of junior high schools to facilitate valid and practical mathematical communication skills. The research method used is Research and Development intending to produce learning tool products and test the validity of the syllabi, RPP, and LAS, as well as the practicality of LAS. The development research uses the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Data collection instruments consist of validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are validity analysis and practicality analysis. The results of syllabus validation are 3.59, RPP validation is 3.70, and LAS validation is 3.84, all falling into the highly valid category. The product's trial results in a small group are 3.65, categorized as highly practical, and the trial results in a large group are 3.75, categorized as highly practical as well. The data analysis results indicate that the developed mathematical learning tools have met the criteria of being valid and practical for Second Grade junior high school students.
