Analisis Kesejahteraan Rumah Tangga Petani Sayuran Di Kelurahan Maharatu Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai

Agriculture is an important sector expected to enhance the welfare of the community, including farmers. This research aimed to determine the welfare level of vegetable farming households and analyzed the factors influencing their welfare in Maharatu Sub-district, Marpoyan Damai. The study was conducted in May 2023, with a sample size of 50 farming households. The measurement of farmers' welfare levels used the BKKBN (2015) welfare indicators. Data analysis employed quantitative descriptive analysis and ordinal logistic regression. The ressearch findings indicated that the majority of farming households had a welfare level categorized as KS III, comprising 19 households, or 38 percent. A minority of farmers had a higher welfare level, classified as KS III Plus, with five households, representing 10 percent. The analysis of factors influencing the welfare of vegetable farming households in Maharatu revealed that variables such as land area, educational level, and farmer groups significantly affected the welfare of these households.
