Analisis Penurunan Kinerja Jalan Akibat Beban Lalu Lintas Berdasarkan Nilai IRI dan FWD (Studi Kasus Ruas Jalan Nasional Simpang Kayu Ara – Simpang Lago)
Every year the traffic volume increases as the needs of traffic users move from one place to another. Volume increase traffic affects the growth of the traffic load capacity received by the pavement structure of a road section. This research analyzes growth in traffic load on the Riau East Cross road, namely the Simpang Kayu Ara (Pekanbaru) to Simpang Lago (Pelalawan) section along 42.85 Kilometers divided into 3 national roads. This road has an important role in the process of mobilizing the movement of goods and human traffic to and from the Pekanbaru area. The government, through the PUPR Ministry, must carry out a maintenance program so that road stability can be maintained. To find out the condition of the structural residual life (RSL) of road pavement, you can use deflection data (FWD) and road surface flatness (IRI) as well as average daily traffic data (LHR) obtained from the Road Implementation Center Riau National (BPJN Riau). Data obtained from 2017-2021. With this data, traffic load growth can be analyzed using VDF values or axle load groupings from the MDP 2017, SE method. Land Transportation 2008 and Highways Methods 1983. Then obtained comparison between RSL reduction values with deflection data and IRI data. Based on the results of the traffic load growth analysis using the MDP 2017 Factual VDF method, it is 25% greater, Bina Marga 1983 is 20% and SE Land Transportation is 7% compared to MDP 2017 Normal VDF. Reducing the remaining life of the pavement of year from deflection data (FWD) is smaller than the decrease in residual life of the pavement obtained from road surface flatness data (IRI), where the results of this analysis cannot be compared directly because of the decrease based on IRI describes the functional condition of the road. Meanwhile, the reduction in the residual life of the pavement based on deflection data describes the structural condition of the
pavement.
